“Amani Goes to Washington D.C.” is the first adventure that children get to go on, under the “Amani’s World” book series. Amani is a little girl that loves to travel with her family on vacations. Because she has been to so many fun and exciting places, she thought that it would be fun to share all of her special memories with other children. Amani has so many pictures and notes, that just wouldn’t all fit into one book. Amani decided to create a series of stories with the help of her best friend, “Bunny”. Amani hopes that all of the children who read her adventures will come back for more. Welcome to Amani’s World.
The Amani's World Children's Educational Program offers five components that can be arranged based on your school's program focus. The first component is Story Time; which introduces children to Amani and her best friend Bunny through a "read aloud" experience. The second component, my personal favorite, is the Live Interactive Performance; which I along with my band, sing and promote movement of the large and small muscle groups with children of all ages. If your school location can not accommodate a live band, then we can provide digital sound tracks of my music with a few band members. The third and fourth components are "Healthy Eating and Children's Fitness", which are workshops designed to promote healthy eating and proper fitness. The fifth component is the Book Signing; which gives children a first hand opportunity to
meet the author, take photos with me and the band and have the opprtunity to purchase a copy of Amani Goes to Washington D.C., my FunTimes cd, or any other Amani's World merchandise to add to their home library.
