Again, a BIG thank you to you, Rick, and Antwon for coming to Next Door Foundation to share your book and music. The
children loved it. They learned a lot of new things and they had fun!!! I will pass your information on to my teacher
contacts and will spread the word about you and the work you do! I believe in what you are doing and want to help in any way
I can.
Thanks!

Mr. Eddie Rutledge,
I am writing this letter to commend you on the wonderful performance you gave at our school. We were delighted to have such
a great kick-off for our African American History month. Your book Amani's World was very interesting and your performance
motivated and excited several students and staff members. We especially enjoyed how you incorporated the audience and how
well you kept students actively engaged. We could easily see how you value literacy and educating students. We will be
delighted to have you return for a future performance. You are greatly appreciated and I will definitely forward your
information on to other schools so that they too can enjoy your wonderful presentation. Please feel free to keep me updated
with all of your future endeavors. Thank you again!
Sincerely,
Ms. Cash

I recently purchased "Amani Goes to Washington D.C." for my son and daughter, who are 4 and 8 yrs old. When the family travels,
we visit bookstores at local malls, and online periodically. When I heard about this release, I bought it, and really enjoyed the
concept, along with my children. They shared it with their friends who are of similar ages. I shared the book with my co-worker
who bought a copy as well. We thought it was a very creative, yet simple tie in to the writer's relative who he based the story on.
I pulled up Eddie Rutledge on google search, and saw a recent interview on Fox 5 news in Washington D.C., where he and real life
cousin Amani were there. It was so cool to see the person the author and the character the storyline is based on. Keep up the good
work "Eddie", I'll be looking for your next release.
